Engineering is the discipline of applying technical and scientific knowledge and utilizing natural laws as well as physical resources to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems and processes to realize a desired objective and meet specified criteria.

Engineering is a broad discipline, which is often categorized into several sub-disciplines. SITM offers the following 5 branches of engineering:

Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electronis & Communication and Computer Science & Engineering.

Engineering can also be defined as the creative application of scientific principles to design or develop structures, machines, apparatus, or manufacturing processes, or works utilizing them singly or in combination; or to construct or operate the same with full cognizance of their design; or to forecast their behaviour under specific operating conditions; all as respects an intended function, economics of operation and safety to life and property.

Eligibility

• B.Tech (1st Year) - 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in total for required subject combination ( PCM ). (Subject to change as per UPTU, Lucknow norms).
• Fifteen Percent (15%) of approved intake of a course is filled under Management Quota or as per Govt. of U.P and UPTU guideline & norms. The student needs to resister themselves early to establish priority on Merit Base.
• The candidates should apply to the Sarvottam Institute Of Technology & Management for purchasing a registration form of Rs. 1000/- (Cash/DD in favor of Sarvottam Institute Of Technology & Management payable at (New Delhi/ Noida) from 10 am to 4 pm on all working days.
